Digital Design- Hopefully you all turned in your hamburger assignment last Friday? If not, it will not be late as long as I have it this week. I know we had some issues at the beginning of the semester with computers not working or having Photoshop properly installed. Now that the computer problems and hopefully weather issues are behind us and we can get to work! This week you should be working on your Visual Verbal Journal of an artists that works in Photoshop as his main media. The VVJ will be due on Monday.
Ceramics 4- You should all be working on your 5 piece place setting(that is cohesive/matching) that will be due the Thursday before spring break (April 29). Yes, this does give you a lot of time to work on this assignment, but it will take a lot of work on throwing plates/platters to be able to throw a set of dishes that look the same. AP 2D- You will be working on your portfolio. You have a piece due on Friday and we will have a class critique on Monday. Sculpture 2- You should be finished with your maquette for your chair and you will start on your full size functional/sculptural chair. No due date set as of now, but you should be working on this project daily. AP 3D- You will be working on your portfolio. We are going to pick up the pace of due dates as I told you last semester. Ceramics 2- You should be sharing a wheel with a partner and you need a matching set of tumblers (wheel thrown) due to be bisque fired on Feb. 13. This gives you enough time to practice throwing, but you need to start using enough clay to throw a 6-7" tumbler. Have a great week!!
