Intro- Working in class on your Chuck Close inspired portrait. We will be having a critique on Tuesday, October 3. If you do not think you will be finished by the critique you will need to work on these pieces at home. Make sure you have your piece here and completed on October 3, or it will be considered late. If you finish earlier you will need to have your sketchbook in class and you may work on your choice of an entry to your sketchbook. Ceramics 3- We will be having a critique on Wednesday to discuss your finished pieces. There will be a bisque fire on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. The next glaze fire will be on Tuesday, October 3. AP2D- Critique over sketchbooks will be on Tuesday, September 26. Thursday you will be going to a presentation from Otis College. The rest of the week will be spent working on your piece #3. AP3D- Working on breadth or concentration. If you are working on an installation you need to come up with a schedule of due dates for the next month. Sculpture- This week you should be working on your maquette for your next full round sculpture. The maquette must be finished by Tuesday, October 3. If you finish, and with approval, you may start working on your final piece. Ceramics- This week you will be finishing with your yunomi and then we will begin to make coil built face jugs inspired by folk art face jugs.
